Benefits of Eco-friendly Reusable Container

A reusable container (other terms for lunch box and Tupperware) provides an eco-friendly purpose for society. It presents more durable and long-lasting use than the disposable food container. Bringing reusable containers whenever you go can be used multiple times, eliminating the simultaneous purchasing of the disposable container. People can bring it to their work, school, and even going on a vacation. In comparison with disposable food containers like plastic containers, Tracey (2017) states that the increasing use of plastic containers can lead to environmental degradation that can damage nature. It is due to plastic's component of low melting point and toxic substances that are potentially harmful to humans.

Purchasing a reusable container can reduce cost and provide a long life span. Consider a container made of glass as it has no or fewer chemicals that absorb in the food when reusing it. Coelho et al. (2020) stated that reusable packaging containers have a lower environmental impact than single-use containers. It is apparent that the importance of using reusable containers takes to address the nation's environmental crisis.

Let us strive to continue bringing awareness to people for the sustainability of the Philippines and all over the globe. Stay with me as more upcoming zero waste practices I want to share to resolve this environmental crisis.
